Yearly Reflection: Our Communities, Our Responsibility

As we close out another year, we’re reminded that reflection is more than looking back — it’s honoring the relationships, lessons, and commitments that shape our purpose. For PSC, 2025 was a year of growth, adaptation, and meaningful partnership. Despite shifting landscapes in Tribal funding, training access, and technology, our mission remained unwavering:

Our communities, our responsibility.

This year affirmed that commitment more deeply than ever.

Celebrating Our 2025 Achievements

Advancing Training Excellence Across Indian Country

We were honored to host our Second Annual Adjudicator’s Training Conference, bringing together professionals committed to strengthening investigative practices and Tribal workplace integrity. Each year, this conference not only grows in attendance but also in the depth of dialogue, community building, and shared best practices.

We also launched a major new initiative: the First Annual Sovereignty in Action School Board Training Forum. This forum marked a significant milestone in supporting Tribal governance, equipping school board leaders with tools grounded in sovereignty, accountability, and culturally informed decision-making.

In partnership with Native Women Lead, we proudly co-developed a Cybersecurity Training tailored for Native women entrepreneurs. As Native-owned businesses innovate and expand, ensuring digital security is more important than ever. This collaboration allowed us to contribute to a future where Native women feel confident and protected in online spaces.

Strengthening Certification Pathways

This year also marked a second successful year of partnering with NNAHRA as we co-hosted the Tribal Adjudicator Professional Certification Training once again. Seeing these programs deepen and continue into their second year reinforces the growing commitment to professional standards within Indian Country — and PSC is honored to support that growth.

Lessons Learned: Challenges That Strengthened Us

This year was not without its challenges, and each one shaped our direction and reinforced our values.

Adapting to Funding Shifts Across Tribal Nations

Many Tribes experienced reductions in training budgets and travel allocations. In response, PSC reimagined our delivery models — expanding online and hybrid formats while ensuring that quality, cultural relevance, and engagement remained uncompromised.

Navigating Industry Changes & Technology Transitions

Several wholesalers and platform providers underwent mergers or acquisitions this year. These shifts pushed us to reevaluate our products, reconsider our partnerships, and rethink our delivery infrastructure. Out of that process came meaningful improvements:

  • Updated service and pricing models
  • A fully revamped PSC website
  • Plans for two new websites launching soon:
    1. A dedicated training platform
    2. A dedicated background screening platform

These changes are steps toward clearer navigation, stronger specialty services, and greater alignment with Tribal needs.

Reaffirming Our Mission

Through every challenge, one message remained clear:

Our communities deserve dependable, culturally grounded, sovereignty-supporting services.

And that is the foundation PSC will always return to.

Looking Toward 2026: A Year of Expansion and Readiness

As we prepare for the new year, PSC is excited to introduce several new offerings and capabilities.

Specialty Training Launches

We will be rolling out new specialty training modules, deepening the support we provide to Tribal HR, leadership, investigators, and governance professionals.

The Professional Pathway Program

We are especially proud of this new initiative, designed to directly support Tribal self-sufficiency and sovereignty. This program will help build internal Tribal workforce capacity, growing local talent and long-term autonomy.

Two Major Partnerships Coming in 2026

While the full announcements are still ahead, we can share that these new collaborations will significantly expand PSC’s capabilities in identification and background screening. Together, they will allow us to better protect and empower our communities.
