This training provides essential instruction for personnel seeking certification in fingerprint collection and for individuals designated as FBI Authorized Recipients. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of proper fingerprinting techniques, submission requirements, and the standards necessary to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) guidelines.
The course emphasizes the secure handling, transmission, and protection of fingerprint records and associated Personally Identifiable Information (PII), highlighting common risks and real-world scenarios that may lead to errors, delays, or unauthorized disclosure.
