Designed for public safety and law enforcement teams and correctional administrative teams, Human Resources teams, background investigators, and other professionals involved in conducting or overseeing background investigations and adjudications for law enforcement and corrections positions, this certification includes access to online prerequisite training (8 hours training):
  • Background Checks: An Overview
  • Compliant Background Investigations for “Law Enforcement & Corrections” Positions

Upon completion of prerequisite, participants are then eligible for the 2-day in person training, receiving a total of 24 hours of training. Prerequisite training starts February 4, 2026.
