This 2-day training session is designed for Human Resources teams, public safety and law enforcement executive teams, correctional administrative teams, background investigators, and other professionals involved in conducting or overseeing background investigations and adjudications for law enforcement and corrections positions.

This in-person training is an immersive experience led by experienced instructors and legal advisors. Learners engage in case-based exercises, practical application, and guided discussions on suitability standards, statutory bars, and issues specific to law enforcement and corrections. The certification concludes with an exam, requiring a passing score to earn certification.

Participants must complete online prerequisite prior to attending the in-person training. Prerequisite training starts February 4, 2026.
